P as Inspector Clouseau...

Melrose

So we live in a building that sometimes has the feel of Lord of the Flies, sometimes a children's Melrose Place. The little kids are always outside playing, running, riding bikes, chalking, which is great. When P's not out there herself, she likes to sit and watch from our ground floor window. Here's P at the window. (Thanks to Roboto and the Genie for the "I heart Kevin Arnold" t-shirt.)

Dad's been feeling a little odd though, because lately some boys have been asking for P a lot. Thing is, they don't necessarily want to play with her; it seems like they just want her as an audience when they do things. Except Kai, our neighbor upstairs, who actually is very sweet to P. But he scares off P by being too forward. (You can't just say hi and immediately ask for a hug, come on man.)

The best party ever

Over Memorial Day weekend, our friend Sammy had the best party ever for his 3rd birthday. Two words: indoor carousel.
